贊曰。牒先父許，故敢承望。當機學時願垂賜與。「唯」者敬諾之辭。敬諾於父，用悕三乘。

Commentary: Citing the father's previous promise, they dare to look forward to it. At the time of practicing in accordance with capacity, they wish he would bestow them. "*Wéi*" (唯) is a word of reverent assent. Reverently assenting to the father, they yearn for the three vehicles.
