7.118

贊曰：三受道有殊。由識空有法之所歸究竟真性，及知眾生心行所趣，故能令彼各得生長。《無垢稱經》云「有無所趣，意樂所歸」，故所歸趣即是三性，究竟歸趣故即真如，心所趣者即是所欣遍趣之行。於理智中達之無礙，或由佛達法及眾生心行，故能受道令三乘別。

Commentary: Third: differences in receiving the Path. Because he discerns the ultimate true nature to which empty and existent phenomena return, and knows the inclinations of the mental activities of sentient beings, he is able to cause them each to attain growth. The Vimalakīrtinirdeśa-sūtra says: 'The destinations of existence and non-existence, and the refuge of aspirations.' Thus, what they return and incline toward are the three natures; because it is the ultimate return and inclination, it is tathatā. What the mind inclines toward is the practice that is aspired to and universally inclined toward. Within principle and wisdom he penetrates them without obstruction; or, because the Buddha penetrates phenomena and the mental activities of sentient beings, he is able to let them receive the Path and cause the three vehicles to be distinct.
