贊曰：下第三合稟潤各異。有二：初法說，後喻合。初中有四：一自標召集，二他聞普至，三佛應導利，四生聞獲益。初中有二：初自標唱，後召他集。標唱有三：一唱德號，二唱利用，三唱知見。此初也。

The commentary says: Below is the third, correlating how the reception of nourishment differs for each. It has two parts: first, the exposition in terms of Dharma; second, the correlation of the metaphor. The first contains four parts: first, his own proclaiming and assembling [of beings]; second, others hearing and gathering universally; third, the Buddha responding to guide and benefit them; fourth, sentient beings hearing and obtaining benefit. The first has two parts: first, his own proclaiming; second, summoning others to assemble. The proclaiming has three aspects: first, proclaiming his virtuous titles; second, proclaiming his beneficial functions; third, proclaiming his knowledge and vision. This is the first.
