7.150

贊曰：第三佛應導利。為利說大乘，為鈍說二乘。為利說二草，為鈍說小草。為精進說修行，為懈怠說十念生西方等。

The commentary says: The third is the Buddha responding to guide and benefit them. For the sharp, he expounds the Great Vehicle; for the dull, he expounds the Two Vehicles. For the sharp, he expounds the two [types of] herbs; for the dull, he expounds the small herb. For the energetic, he expounds cultivation and practice; for the indolent, he expounds the ten recollections for rebirth in the Western [Pure Land], and so forth.
