贊曰：下第二段有九頌，佛應導利。中有五：初二頌佛說勝法，次一頌為大乘因，次二頌半平等說法，次一頌半專為利益，後二頌不簡好醜。此初也。正法味甘、能療煩惱之疾，故喻甘露。

Commentary: The second section below has nine verses on the Buddha's responsive guidance and benefiting. Among them are five: first, two verses on the Buddha preaching the supreme Dharma; next, one verse on it being the cause for the Great Vehicle; next, two and a half verses on preaching the Dharma equally; next, one and a half verses on being dedicated solely to benefiting; and the last two verses on not selecting between the good and the bad. This is the first. The taste of the correct Dharma is sweet and can cure the illness of afflictions; hence it is compared to amṛta.
