7.21

贊曰：困到也。法食不足故飢，妙行不圓故疲。或起惡見，損壞深故生瘡，不堅持戒，損壞淺故生癬。妄生見解，不專持戒。「到父城」者，遇入大乘。「傭」賃。「展轉」者，勤力求法也。「至父舍」者，入中道大乘也。

The Commentary says: This is arriving in distress. Because the food of Dharma is insufficient, he is starved; because wondrous practice is incomplete, he is weary. Alternatively, having generated wrong views, because the damage is deep, ulcers break out; not upholding the pure precepts firmly, because the damage is shallow, scabs break out. He falsely conceives views and understandings, and does not exclusively uphold the precepts. ‘Reaching the father's city’ means encountering and entering the Mahāyāna. ‘Hired’ means being employed for wages. ‘Passing from place to place’ means exerting effort to seek the Dharma. ‘Reaching the father's house’ means entering the Middle Way Mahāyāna.
