贊曰：下有八頌，法喻合說稟閏成實，果異。有二：初六頌半法說，後一頌半喻說。初文有三：初一頌總頌能令得果滿足，亦是別頌令小草果滿；次二頌中草；後三頌半大草。此初也。「世間充足」謂人天滿。

Commentary: The following eight verses combine doctrine and metaphor to explain the fruition brought about by moistening, meaning their fruits are diverse. There are two parts: first, six verses and a half present the doctrinal explanation; second, a verse and a half presents the metaphorical explanation. The first text has three parts: the first verse generally summarizes the ability to fulfill the fruits, and also specifically versifies bringing the fruits of the small herbs to fulfillment; the next two verses concern the intermediate herbs; the final three verses and a half concern the large herbs. This is the first. 'Abundantly satisfied in the world' means the fulfillment of human and heavenly states.
