贊曰：第三目連記中文段同前。因記有二：初初時，後後時。初時有二：初現在，後滅後。此現在也。

The Eulogy says: In the text of the third prophecy, that of Maudgalyāyana, the structural sections are the same as before. The prophecy of causes has two parts: first, the initial period; second, the subsequent period. The initial period has two parts: first, during [the buddhas'] presence; second, after their extinction. This is during their presence.
