贊曰：下問答。有三：一問，二答，三明久近。問中有二：初挍量，後問。此初也。「種」音之隴反，「磨」音莫箇反，「若」莫波反。應作「摩」，「摩」研也，鬼作「魔」，尼作「[(序-予+林)/女]」，病作「𭚉」，都無「磨」作摩音。

The Eulogy says: Below are the questions and answers. There are three: first, the question; second, the answer; third, clarifying the distance. The question has two parts: first, the comparative assessment; later, the inquiry. This is the first. The character 種 is pronounced with the fanqie zhī-lǒng; 磨 is pronounced with the fanqie mò-gè; 若 is pronounced with mò-bō. It should be written 摩; 摩 means to grind down. For a demon one writes 魔; for a nun one writes 𡚳; for an illness one writes 𭚉. In no case does one write 磨 for the pronunciation mó.
