贊曰：二敷坐。《勝天王般若》說「諸天各獻一座，佛為受之，坐取菩提。以神力故合為一座，令彼諸天各唯見佛納己之座以取菩提，發心歡喜，不見納受餘座而坐。」故此亦言諸天作座，非共造一。

The Eulogy says: Second, arranging the seat. The Suvikrāntavikrāmiparipṛcchā Prajñāpāramitā states: "The devas each offered a seat, and the Buddha accepted them and sat to attain bodhi. By his spiritual power, he unified them into a single seat, causing each of those devas to see only the Buddha accepting his own seat to attain bodhi, so that they generated joyful minds, without seeing him accept the other seats to sit upon." Therefore, here it also says the devas made seats, not that they together constructed a single one.
