贊曰：三明佛識達故請。此知五種：一所念，即欲樂、勝解；二所行道，遍趣行；三智慧力，即根勝劣；四宿命，即宿住力；五業，即自業智力。其欲樂即所念，修福即業，故略舉此攝餘五力。

The Commentary says: The third is requesting because the Buddha possesses penetrating comprehension. Here he knows five kinds of things: first, their thoughts, which are their inclinations and resolute intentions; second, the paths they practice, which are the practices leading to all destinies; third, their power of wisdom, which is the superiority and inferiority of their faculties; fourth, past lives, which is the power of knowing past abodes; fifth, karmas, which is the power of knowing the karmas of oneself and others. Their inclinations are precisely their thoughts, and their cultivation of merit is karma; thus, these are briefly cited to subsume the remaining five powers.
