贊曰：下五頌半釋。中有二：初四頌半生死輪迴，後一頌釋佛能拔。初中又二：初二頌受苦果，後二頌半行惡因。此初也。

The Eulogy says: The five and a half verses below explain it. In this there are two: the first four and a half verses are transmigration in saṃsāra; the latter verse explains that the Buddha can extract [beings from it]. In the first there are again two: the first two verses are receiving the fruit of suffering; the latter two and a half verses are practicing evil causes. This is the first.
