贊曰：下第二段，四十一頌頌喻說。中分二：初三十四頌頌昔不悕，後有七頌頌今獲得。初中有六：初半頌最初發心喻，次一頌退流生死喻，次七頌中還見佛喻，次十四頌不肯修大喻，次九頌半化以二乘喻，後二頌示大不悕喻。此初也。

The commentary says: Below is the second section: forty-one verses versifying the parable. It is divided into two: first, thirty-four verses versify the past lack of desire; then, seven verses versify the present obtaining. Within the first there are six parts: first, half a verse on the parable of the initial generation of the mind; next, one verse on the parable of regressive drifting in birth and death; next, seven verses on the parable of seeing the Buddha midway; next, fourteen verses on the parable of refusing to cultivate the Great [Vehicle]; next, nine and a half verses on the parable of conversion through the two vehicles; finally, two verses on the parable of showing the Great [Vehicle] and the lack of desire [for it]. This is the first part.
