7.51

贊曰：下三頌半正付家事。有五：初半頌初教發心。半頌退流生死。半頌化以二乘，或在人天彼方根熟，或在加行、無間兩道，或斷五下、五上分結二位之時，故言見子已二十年。或說得有學、無學果。一頌昔退大乘今得相遇，根機熟故。一頌正付。

The Commentary says: Below, three and a half verses directly bequeath the household affairs. There are five parts: first, half a verse on originally teaching him to generate the mind [for awakening]; half a verse on retreating and drifting through saṃsāra; half a verse on transforming him by means of the Two Vehicles—either when in the human and celestial realms his faculties matured there, or when in the two paths of preliminary application and uninterrupted progress, or at the stage of abandoning the five lower and five higher fetters—hence it is said that twenty years have passed since seeing the son; or it speaks of attaining the fruits of learning and no-learning; one verse on formerly retreating from the Mahāyāna and now meeting, because his faculties and capacity have matured; and one verse on directly bequeathing.
