贊曰：阿彌陀云無量壽，慧命長故。度世苦惱，常起悲故。多摩羅跋栴檀香，云性無垢賢香。眾德莊嚴，名須彌相。
The Commentary says: "Amitābha" means Immeasurable Life, because the life of wisdom is long, and delivering the suffering of the world, he constantly arouses compassion. "Tamālapattracandanagandha" means naturally immaculate and virtuous fragrance. Being adorned with all virtues is named Sumerukalpa.
