贊曰：十二頌半，分二：初二頌半頌悔責，後十頌領解。此初也。初一頌標禮，後一頌半自責。
The Commentary says: The twelve and a half verses are divided into two parts: first, two and a half verses versify remorse and self-reproach; second, ten verses versify their understanding. This is the first. The first verse marks their veneration; the subsequent verse and a half versify self-reproach.
