贊曰：下申言。有三：初陳已有分以歸佛，次述二人合記所由，後正申請。此初也。

The Commentary says: Below is the spoken expression. It has three parts: first, stating that they already have a share so as to take refuge in the Buddha; second, recounting the reason why the two should jointly receive prophecy; third, formally making the request. This is the first.
