贊曰：此二千希請。「袒」音徒旱反，裼也。肉袒，脫膊也。

The Commentary says: This is the request by the two thousand. 'Tan' (to bare) is pronounced as the fanqie of tu and han; it means to uncover. 'Baring the flesh' means exposing the shoulder.
