雖標總稱，即是別名，無別能故。餘品更有別義可名，況於此中雙歎人、法俱可師故。又〈持品〉現在說法名持，此說滅後勸歎勝能，名法師品。

Although it designates a general title, it is a specific name, because there is no other distinct capacity. Other chapters have other distinct meanings by which they can be named, not to mention that here both person and Dharma are praised as worthy of being teachers. Furthermore, in the "Upholding Chapter", expounding the Dharma in the present is called "upholding", whereas here, encouraging and praising superior capacities after the extinction is called the "Dharma Teacher Chapter".
