8.328

贊曰：下十六頌，分三：初二頌總敘法師可尊、應可供養之所由，次十三頌頌前法師之德，後一頌結成法勝故人可尊。此初。分二：初一頌得任運智即真智性二空真理，後一頌得真智相。「一切種」即後得智。「及智慧」即根本智，分為二故。勸自受持并供持者，於自然智但勸供養，明自受持得之何惑。

The Commentary says: Below are sixteen verses, divided into three parts: first, two verses generally recount the reasons why the Dharma-teacher is worthy of reverence and worthy of receiving offerings; second, thirteen verses praise the virtues of the aforementioned Dharma-teachers; third, one verse concludes that because the Dharma is superior, the person is worthy of reverence. This is the first part, which has two: the first verse concerns attaining spontaneous knowledge, which is the nature of true knowledge, the true principle of the twofold emptiness; the second verse concerns attaining the characteristics of true knowledge. 'All kinds' refers to subsequent knowledge. 'And wisdom' refers to fundamental knowledge, as they are divided into two. It exhorts one to accept and uphold it oneself and to make offerings to those who uphold it; regarding spontaneous knowledge, it only exhorts making offerings, showing that there is no doubt that one will attain it through accepting and upholding it oneself.
