贊曰：一衛護，二令憶念。「寂寞」者空無貌。一見佛具是德者，具是忍辱，寂處讀誦一令八部聽。

Eulogy: One is providing protection; two is causing them to remember. "Solitary and silent" (寂寞) describes an empty and deserted appearance. The one [verse] on seeing the Buddha, [concerning] those who possess these virtues: possessing this forbearance, reciting in a quiet place. The one [verse] causes the eight classes to listen.
