贊曰：下答。有三：初標，次釋，後結。此初也。論云「住持者，示現諸佛如來法身自在身力故、化相法身自在力故。全身在塔住持，表佛法身自在力故」。在此經教，全身住持。

The Commentary says: Below is the response. It has three parts: first, the indication; next, the explanation; and finally, the conclusion. This is the first. The Treatise says: "As for 'holding in being' (adhiṣṭhāna): it is because of manifesting the bodily power of sovereignty of the dharmakāya of all buddha-tathāgatas, and the sovereign power of the dharmakāya in transformed aspects. The complete body remaining preserved within the stūpa indicates the sovereign power of the Buddha's dharmakāya." Here in this sūtra teaching, the complete body is held in being.
