贊曰：此召化佛。問：一佛所化不越三千。何故分身遍十方界？答：隨順初見，且說三千所化；上位不同，何得分身不廣？又身無異，他即我身。

The Commentary says: This summons the transformation buddhas. Question: The realm converted by a single buddha does not exceed three thousand [worlds]. Why do the emanation bodies pervade the worlds of the ten directions? Answer: In accord with initial perception, one speaks provisionally of the converted realm of three thousand [worlds]; but for the higher stages it is different, so how could the emanation bodies not be vast? Moreover, the bodies are not different: others are none other than my own body.
