贊曰：此文有三，一土相、二眷屬、三覆蓋。何故須照一切佛土清淨耶？論云「示現諸佛實相境界中種種寶間錯莊嚴故，表一乘中具萬德故」。「幔」音莫半反，在傍曰帷、在上曰幔。若覆作鞔，武安反。幔上安網以寶為之，如幔之飾，故言網幔。

The Commentary says: This text has three parts: 1. features of the buddha-field, 2. the retinue, 3. canopies and coverings. Why is it necessary to illuminate all buddha-fields as pure? The Treatise says: "Because it manifests the adornment of various interwoven jewels in the realm of the true nature of all buddhas, representing that the Single Vehicle is replete with myriad virtues." "Man" (canopy) is pronounced with the fanqie mo-ban; placed at the sides it is called wei (curtain), placed above it is called man (canopy). If covering, it is written man, pronounced wu-an. Nets placed above the canopies are made of jewels, like the adornments of canopies; hence they are called "net canopies".
