贊曰：下正開塔。有三：初事訖住空，次時眾起覩，後釋迦正開。此初也。塔湧在空，故隨塔住。

The commentary says: Below is the actual opening of the stūpa. There are three parts: first, the matters completed, he dwells in the air; next, the assembly at that time arises to look; and last, Śākyamuni actually opens it. This is the first. Because the stūpa welled up in the air, he accordingly dwelt in the air following the stūpa.
