贊曰：顯身出香利生說法。或釋迦自出，或分身出香。乍長讀文似分身出香，長行但有釋迦燒香以待客，非客出香以設主，故此應知非定客出。如風摧枝，化人從已，如風靡草易可成故。

The Eulogy says: This shows the manifestation of the bodies emanating fragrance to benefit sentient beings and expound the Dharma. Alternatively, Śākyamuni himself emanated it, or the emanation bodies emanated the fragrance. Reading the text at first glance, it seems that the emanation bodies emanated the fragrance; however, the prose only mentions Śākyamuni burning incense to receive the guests, not the guests emanating fragrance to serve the host. Therefore, one should know that it was not definitely emanated by the guests. Like the wind breaking branches, the transformed people followed him, just as wind flattening grass is easily accomplished.
