贊曰：下第二大段有七頌半，合說。中分二：初二頌半頌合昔權，後有五頌頌合今說實。此初也。初半頌初將離險，次一頌中途方退，後一頌為設化城。

The Eulogy says: The second major section below has seven and a half verses, which is the application. It is divided into two: first, two and a half verses apply the past provisional; next, five verses apply the present exposition of the real. This is the first. The first half verse applies the initial preparation to leave the perilous path; the next one verse applies the retreat halfway; the next one verse applies the creation of the conjured city.
