贊曰：此明不怖棄命持經。由具六惡雖難可化，我不怖之應攝受者而攝受之、應折伏者而折伏之，棄命持法。

The Eulogy says: This explains upholding the sūtra without fear, giving up their lives. Because [the people] possess the six evils, although they are difficult to transform, we are not afraid of them: those who should be gathered in we will gather in, and those who should be subdued we will subdue, giving up our lives to uphold the Dharma.
