贊曰：下第三段尼眾請持。有二：初授記，後持經。初文有二：初二類得記，後二類喜領。初文復二：初母、後妻。初中復二：初請、後記。此初也。佛之小母、母之雁行，故稱姨也。

The Eulogy says: Below is the third section, the assembly of nuns requesting to uphold it. There are two parts: first, the bestowal of prophecies; afterwards, upholding the sūtra. The first part has two sections: first, two groups receiving prophecies; afterwards, two groups joyfully accepting them. The first section again has two: first, the aunt/mother; afterwards, the wife. The first again has two: first, requesting; afterwards, the prophecy. This is the first. The Buddha's foster mother stood in the rank of wild geese with his mother, hence she is called aunt.
