贊曰：下請持。長行有三：一讚德，二念請，三言請。此初二也。德中初位次，「阿惟越致」此云不退，八地已上。後「轉法輪」下是所成德。心念有二，如文可知。

The Eulogy says: Below is requesting to uphold it. The prose has three parts: 1. praising virtues; 2. mentally requesting; 3. verbally requesting. These are the first two. Among the virtues, first is the stage: *avaivartika* is translated here as non-retrogression, which is the eighth stage and above. Below, "turning the wheel of the Dharma" refers to the virtues achieved. Mental reflection has two aspects, as can be known from the text.
