贊曰：此說惡行。「誹」音府謂反，亦謗也。《玉篇》「甫違反」。「謗」音補矌反，《玉篇》「毀也詛也」，對人說其惡也。

The commentary says: This explains their evil actions. For fěi (誹, to defame), the sound is the fanqie spelling fǔ-wèi; it also means to slander. The Yùpiān gives the fanqie spelling fǔ-wěi. For bàng (謗, to slander), the sound is the fanqie spelling bǔ-kuàng. The Yùpiān says: 'To defame, to curse'; that is, speaking of someone's wickedness to others.
