贊曰：別釋。中分二：初明行處，後親近處。行處即是四行通因，起四行時應依此門而方起也。行處有三：一問，二釋，三結。此初也。

The commentary says: Explaining them separately. This is divided into two: first, clarifying the sphere of practice; later, the sphere of close association. The sphere of practice is precisely the common cause of the four practices; when giving rise to the four practices, one should rely on this gate to give rise to them. The sphere of practice has three parts: first, question; second, explanation; third, conclusion. This is the first.
