贊曰：下別示。長行有二：初離惡；後脩善，「善脩如是安樂心故」下是。初離七惡，此即初四。《智度論》云「善人相者不自讚毀不讚毀他」。「若毀法」者，《百喻經》說「如二人洗父之脚，互相誹毀便令損折。」

The commentary states: The following provides distinct demonstrations. The prose section has two parts: first, leaving behind evil; later, cultivating the good, beginning from "Because of skillfully cultivating such a mind of ease and comfort". The first is leaving behind seven evils, and this constitutes the first four. The Dazhidulun says: "The mark of a good person is neither praising oneself nor disparaging others." As for "defaming the Dharma", the Baiyu jing says: "Like two men washing their father's feet, mutually speaking ill of each other and thereby causing him injury."
