The Eulogy states: Below explains the completion by matching similes. There are two parts: first, matching simile and doctrine regarding previously granting provisional methods; later, matching simile and doctrine regarding now bestowing the true teaching, which begins from "Just as a wheel-turning king sees among his troops those who have great merit" downward. The first text again has two: first the simile, then the application. Within the simile there are five: first, the simile of the Dharma King dispensing transformation; second, the simile of the maras resisting and rebelling; third, the simile of the noble ones subduing and eliminating them; fourth, the simile of bestowing paths according to merit; fifth, the simile of finally granting this sūtra. This is the first. "Strong and powerful" means surpassing saṃsāra. There are four wheel-turning kings, as the Yogācārabhūmi says: "The gold-wheel king transforms [them] upon encountering his prestige; the silver-wheel king subdues only upon sending envoys; the copper-wheel king subdues only upon displaying his might; the iron-wheel king brings peace only upon wielding weapons." The dharmakāya, self-enjoyment body, other-enjoyment body, and transformation body are matched to the similes in this sequence. Now, since transforming the two vehicles is done by a transformation buddha, the iron-wheel king is taken as the simile, because he raises troops to do battle. "Mighty prestige" refers to supernormal powers and wisdom. "The various kingdoms" refers to the karma and afflictions of saṃsāra. "To subdue" has the meaning of severing and eliminating.
