贊曰：眾魔拒逆喻。分段、變易生死，及煩惱、所知障品，三種魔類並示現天魔等，名諸小王。拒逆佛化、難可除斷，名不順命。

The Eulogy states: The simile of the maras resisting and rebelling. Delimited saṃsāra and transformative saṃsāra, together with the classes of afflictive obstacles and cognitive obstacles—the three kinds of maras together with manifesting heavenly maras, etc.—are called the "lesser kings." Resisting the Buddha's transformation and being difficult to eliminate and sever are called "not obeying his commands."
