贊曰：合初十四頌半頌第四行。中分二：初四頌頌安樂行，後十頌半頌經勝德。初文有二：初一頌總標，後三頌別頌。此初也。「哀」慈也。「愍」悲也。

The Eulogy states: In total, the first fourteen and a half verses versify the fourth practice. Within this, there are two parts: the first four verses versify the practice of peaceful dwelling, and the latter ten and a half verses versify the supreme virtues of the sūtra. The first text has two parts: the first verse generally indicates, and the latter three verses specifically versify. This is the first. "Mercy" is loving-kindness. "Pity" is compassion.
