贊曰：下六頌半頌合。中分二：初三頌半頌合昔權，後三頌頌合今實。此初也。今亦唯有三：一頌半法王，一頌功，一頌賜。「說此諸經」者，說此會已前經。

The Eulogy states: The next six and a half verses are the application. There are two divisions: first, three and a half verses apply the former expedient; after, three verses apply the present real. This is the first part. Here there are also only three: one and a half verses for the Dharma King; one verse for merit; one verse for granting. "Expounded these sūtras" refers to expounding the sūtras before this assembly.
