贊曰：此品之中大文分四：一他土請持，二如來不許，三此方踊出，四菩薩疑生。此初也。

The Eulogy states: Within this chapter, the main text is divided into four: first, requesting to uphold [the sūtra] from other lands; second, the Tathāgata does not permit it; third, welling forth from this land; fourth, the bodhisattvas giving rise to doubt. This is the first part.
