贊曰：如來不許。有二：初止、後顯。且說極多，故言六萬，實非唯爾。顯佛化功止他不許，縱令他護亦有何愆。

The Eulogy states: The Tathāgata does not permit it. There are two parts: first, stopping them; after, displaying [the protectors]. Stating an extremely large number, he says sixty thousand, but in reality it is not only this. Displaying the Buddha's merit of conversion stops the others and refuses permission; even if others were to protect it, what fault would there be?
