贊曰：此結釋也。善少故德薄，罪多故垢重。應小器而近登正覺，對大根實成道已久。方便化生令入道故，時時現出令渴仰故。

Eulogy: This is the concluding explanation. Because their wholesome roots are few, their virtue is slight; because their sins are many, their defilements are heavy. Responding to small capacities, he ascends to right awakening recently; facing great roots, he actually attained the Way long ago. It is to skillfully convert beings and cause them to enter the Way, appearing from time to time to make them thirst and yearn.
