Eulogy: Above, unsurpassed bodhi was clarified. Below, the second major section re-illuminates the distinct characteristics of the reward and transformation bodies, and the unsurpassed nature of nirvāṇa. Within it, there are two divisions: first, explaining through the Dharma the constant abiding, arising, and cessation of the two bodies; later, explaining through a parable the constant abiding, arising, and cessation of the two bodies. The first text also has two parts: first, clarifying the constant abiding, arising, and cessation of the two bodies; later, beginning from 'Furthermore, good men, the Dharma of all the buddhas and tathāgatas is also like this', explaining and confirming that the previous statement is naturally so and not false. The first part also has two subdivisions: first, clarifying that because the realm of sentient beings and the power of the original vow are both inexhaustible, the lifespan of the reward-body constantly abides; later, clarifying that the transformation-body manifests arising and cessation in accordance with the bodies and inclinations of sentient beings. This is the first subdivision. When formerly practicing the bodhisattva path, he vowed to deliver all sentient beings to the end before entering [nirvāṇa] without remainder; since the realm of sentient beings has no limit, now that the fruit is perfected, vows and practices do not wither; therefore his lifespan is inexhaustible and is double the above number.
