贊曰：教留遺法也。道成既久寄言衰老，入滅時近今留教在。汝可依行煩惱必滅，故勿憂患。

The Commentary says: This is instructing the bequest of his legacy. Having achieved the Way long ago, he figuratively speaks of senility; the time of his entry into extinction being near, he now leaves behind his teaching. You may rely upon and practice it, and afflictions will surely be eradicated, so do not worry or grieve.
