贊曰：下第二段校量勝劣明後時益。中分二：初長行及頌聞〈壽量〉生隨喜信解益，生下於一部中隨喜功德；後一長行頌聞〈壽量〉解持讀誦益，生下於一部中法師功德。初解隨喜者，後正修行者。初長行有三：初總明信解，次校量勝劣，後顯無退。此初也。隨喜功德，後得菩提，何量之有？

The Eulogy says: Below is the second section, which elucidates subsequent benefits through a comparison of superiority and inferiority. Within it, there is a division into two: first, a prose section and verses on the benefits of generating rejoicing with compliance, faith, and understanding upon hearing the 'Span of Life', which gives rise below to the merits of rejoicing with compliance across the entire text; later, a prose section and verses on the benefits of understanding, upholding, reading, and reciting upon hearing the 'Span of Life', which gives rise below to the merits of the Dharma master across the entire text. The first is understanding and rejoicing with compliance; the latter is correct practice. The first prose section has three parts: first, generally elucidating faith and understanding; next, comparing superiority and inferiority; and later, revealing non-retrogression. This is the first. For the merit of rejoicing with compliance, subsequently obtaining bodhi, what limit could there be?
