贊曰：下十頌五度。中分五，此三頌貧施。弟子者，聲聞也。田有三種：一尊勝，二貧苦，三中容。父母恩田，初尊勝攝。今供初田，田、恩兩勝。如是等中攝醫藥故，四事便具。

The Eulogy says: Below are ten verses on the five pāramitās. Within these, they are divided into five parts; these three verses concern giving to the poor. 'Disciples' refers to śrāvakas. There are three kinds of fields: first, the revered and supreme; second, the impoverished and suffering; third, the middling. The field of gratitude that is one's parents is subsumed under the first, the revered and supreme. Now, making offerings to the first field combines supremacy in both field and gratitude. Because 'and such things' subsumes medicines, the four requisites are thereby complete.
