Eulogy: The above revealed the initial disparity; these two verses show the subsequent unification. They encourage abandoning the body of liberation to attain the Buddha's Dharma-body. The nirvāṇa of the two vehicles that was spoken of is like a conjured city; it is not true cessation. Because phenomena from beginningless time are eternally tranquil in nature, this is the naturally pure nirvāṇa; this phenomenon of ineffable nature is not newly existent now, and like the place of jewels, it is true cessation. Since true cessation is thus, after practicing the Path they will in a future life realize this primordial extinction of phenomena and attain the Buddha Path. Skillfully utilizing expedient means through my fundamental wisdom, I initially opened the two provisionals and later showed the single reality; this is collectively called disclosing and showing the Dharma of the three vehicles.
