The Commentary says: Below, the fourth section has fourteen verses on refusing to cultivate the Great [Vehicle]. It has four parts: first, two verses on the father constantly thinking of his son; next, nine verses on the son seeing him, taking fright, and fleeing; next, one and a half verses on the father ordering that he be quickly seized; and last, one and a half verses on the son thereupon becoming anxious and panicked. This is the first. As his years declined, he thought of him all the more; as his practice of the Path was long, his compassion was deep, thinking of him night and day because he contemplated six times daily.
