The Commentary says: The sixth is the parable of seeing the Buddha and all rejoicing. First is rejoicing, then entreating. "Having lost their original minds" refers to those whose faculties are not yet mature: losing purity and giving rise to defilement. "Those who have not lost their minds" refers to those who have attained their original pure mind: those whose faculties are mature. "Rejoicing" is physical mental action; "prostrating" is bodily action; "inquiring" is verbal action. Taking refuge through the three actions, they entreat him to teach the essentials of the Dharma. "Grant us life once more" means now begging for the life of wisdom.
