佛等亦天號，通故名天眼，人雖起彼天，屬天名天眼。又名字假立，何假苦求，設作多通終還有難，且各據義以立其名。

Buddha and others are also designated as "divine" (deva); because it is common, it is named the divine eye. Although humans give rise to that divine [eye], it pertains to the divine, so it is named the divine eye. Furthermore, names are conventional designations; why laboriously press for them? Even if many reconciliations are made, objections will still remain in the end; for now, each establishes its name based on its particular meaning.
