緣俗俗事故，以劣智故，名為世間。若爾對車說城應取真理，云何論云涅槃城者諸禪三昧城，涅槃既取禪三昧城，菩提何故取後世間智？又復二乘無漏後得，不能起通了知諸法，何名令戲？故前說善。

Because it takes conventional matters as its object, and because it is an inferior wisdom, it is called mundane. If in contrast to the cart, the city should be taken as true reality, why does the treatise say: 'The city of nirvāṇa is the city of dhyāna-samādhis'? Since nirvāṇa is taken as the city of dhyāna-samādhi, why is bodhi taken as subsequent mundane wisdom? Moreover, the untainted subsequent [wisdom] of the two vehicles cannot produce supernormal knowledges to fully understand all dharmas; how could it be said to let them sport? Therefore, the earlier explanation is sound.
