佛重為說。何以得知？《菩薩處胎經》具廣分別，佛歷問所說，不聞之者阿難言不聞，佛勅聽為說，阿難得佛覺三昧，悉能受持故也。

The Buddha repeated it for him. How is this known? The Pusa chutai jing explains this extensively in detail: the Buddha asked sequentially about what had been spoken; regarding what he had not heard, Ānanda said he had not heard it, and the Buddha commanded him to listen and spoke it for him; this is because Ānanda attained the Buddha-Awakening Samādhi and was entirely able to receive and retain it.
